Μέλι (Honey)
Summary: A young woman, who is slowly dying, continues to live her life the same way, every single day. She is always present in the cafe she and her sister own and is always having the same thing: a black tea with honey. When her sister discovers that the young woman doesn’t have much time left, she decides to show her a wonderful time by doing the things they love together. Reluctant at first, the young woman eventually gives in to spending a day with her sister, but with her energy depleting, has to find the strength to carry through the day.
Η γιαγιά μου (My Grandmother)
Summary: Η γιαγιά μου (My Grandmother) is a documentary telling the story of my YiaYia and her life as a Greek immigrant in the United States. This film was made with the help of my aunt, who is our narrator. Η γιαγιά μου makes use of family photos, home videos, archival material, and on-site footage shot in Astoria, Queens, New York.
