Hello!

My name is Meghan Colovos. Thank you for stopping by! I am an American Filmmaker, born and raised in central Florida, now living in Virginia. I am currently a Film Student at George Mason University, and will be graduating with a BFA in Film Studies in May, 2026.

I have experience in Marketing, Writing, Directing, Production Design, and Costuming. I was a Film Research and Marketing Assistant for two years, and I’ve completed an internship in Prague, Czech Republic where I worked for a Film Production & Distribution company called Bontonfilm.

I am looking to make films that shift the expectations of cinema, particularly within the experimental genre. I believe in flexibility to enhance my films as I go, and working with others has fueled my passion for filmmaking. I like to be surprised and explore different avenues that I can take my films down, and in this exploration, I uncover worlds where my stories live, ones that are mystical and full of magic. As a curator of unique visual experiences, I like to push boundaries within my filmmaking and storytelling, redefining the expectations surrounding cinema. My work extends from Writing & Directing into Production Design & Costuming, enhancing the magic in my work.
